KEP Italia places safety at the heart of its business. Every new helmet model undergoes rigorous testing to verify the strength and quality of every single component. Only after successfully passing these tests is the helmet approved for production and released to the market.

HIGHEST QUALITY
Our helmets are made with carefully selected materials to ensure excellent performance. We use laser-perforated steels, lightweight and durable honeycomb structures, aluminum, carbon fiber, DDQ stainless steel, Kevlar, polycarbonate, and hypoallergenic, antistatic fabrics. Every element is chosen to create riding helmets that offer the best in protection, comfort, and durability.
PERFECT FIT
Designed to offer a perfect fit, KEP Italia helmets combine comfort and safety. The ergonomic shell shape and a range of internal paddings tailored for different head shapes ensure an impeccable fit. The removable and washable padding is available in a summer version - breathable and lightweight - and a winter version with integrated ear covers. For younger riders, the inner shell can be replaced as they grow, eliminating the need to buy a new helmet.
SECURE CHINSTRAP
The chinstrap, a crucial element for helmet safety, is designed to ensure optimal strength. Made from high-quality materials, it undergoes rigorous tests to verify its resistance to tension, which can occur in the event of a fall.
The five-point anchoring system ensures the helmet stays firmly in place during a fall, continuing to protect the rider even after impact with the ground. It’s essential to always fasten the chinstrap correctly, adjusting the buckle so it isn’t too loose under the chin, for optimal protection.
FLEXIBLE VISOR
The flexible visor on our riding helmets is a fundamental safety feature.
The visor’s flexibility helps reduce the force of impact on the head, enhancing rider protection.
Thanks to its elasticity, the visor does not become a rigid part of the helmet that could cause injury in the event of an impact or frontal fall.
EXTENDED NECK GUARD
The extended neck guard provides optimal protection for the back of the head, helping to reduce the risk of injury in one of the most delicate areas.
Its ergonomic shape perfectly follows the line of the neck, ensuring complete coverage without compromising freedom of movement.
This meticulously designed feature offers superior safety and consistent comfort, even during the most intense or prolonged activities.
CERTFIICATION TESTS

Verifies the helmet’s resistance to blows, such as those caused by a fall or a horse’s kick.

CERTIFICATIONS AND SAFETY STANDARDS
There are various types of safety certifications and approvals for equestrian helmets, each with its own specific requirements. For this reason, it's essential to choose a certified riding helmet that complies with as many safety standards as possible.

CE EN1384:2023
Europe: CE EN1384:2023, replacing previous VG1 01.040 2014-12 and EN1384:2017 standards. The new EN 1384:2023 certification marks a significant step forward, introducing stricter tests and more comprehensive documentation to guarantee superior safety in every aspect.
SEI
The SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) certification is internationally recognized as a symbol of reliability and safety.
